You'll have a coach with you for the whole cycle, from building a school list that reflects both your numbers and the kind of law you want to practice, through to interview prep. Along the way you'll work on your LSAT strategy, your personal statement and supplemental essays, any addenda your record calls for, and how to approach your recommenders. Your written materials also go to Prepory's Writing Specialists, who'll review them as many times as you need.
You'll meet your law school admissions coach over Zoom for 60 minutes at a time. Every session follows a syllabus built around your target schools, your LSAT and GPA profile, and your deadlines, so you're not sitting through general advice you could've found online. You'll leave each one knowing exactly what comes next.
Prepory's graduate admissions team includes former admissions officers, NACAC-certified counselors, advanced degree holders, and graduates of programs like Harvard, Brown, Yale, and Columbia. Prepory hires about 1.5% of the people who apply to coach, which makes it roughly twice as hard as getting into Harvard. You'll be matched based on the schools you're targeting, the areas of law you're drawn to, and where your coach's expertise lines up.
Every written piece your applications require gets reviewed as many times as you need. That covers your personal statement, your resume, your diversity statement, your "why this school" essays, any optional essays, GPA and LSAT addenda, character and fitness explanations, and the supplemental essays each school asks for. Prepory's Writing Specialists look at grammar, structure, organization, and content, and you'll have their feedback back within three business days.
Your coach will help you set a target score based on where you're applying, then build a study timeline that works around whatever else your life already contains. You'll focus your prep on the sections that'll move your score the most, and decide together whether a retake makes sense. Prepory recommends starting about a year before the cycle you're applying in. Most law schools review applications on a rolling basis, so that year of runway is what lets you submit early with your best LSAT score already in hand. If your deadlines are closer than that, there's still real ground to gain on your personal statement, your positioning, and your school list.
You'll talk through your background, the schools you're considering, and the parts of your application you're least sure about. You'll get an honest read on where you stand and a recommendation for which program length fits your timeline. If it's not the right fit, you'll hear that too.
