Spencer H.

Northwestern University
Kellogg School Of Management
Spencer is pursuing a master's degree at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. During his undergrad years at Northwestern, he served as the Captain of Northwestern Men’s Soccer Leadership Council, where he mentored underclassmen struggling with course selection and career pathways. As a scholar-athlete, Spencer earned the prestigious Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. He's also served as a business analyst for major financial and real estate firms including, JP Morgan Chase & Co., The Lighthouse Group, and Caruso.

Kaitlyn R.

Harvard University
Harvard Graduate School of Education
Kaitlyn is a two-time Harvard University graduate, where she earned her bachelor's degree and a Ed.M degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She served as a member of the Model Congress, where she ran and facilitated government simulation conferences in Boston, Tokyo, Dubai, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Kaitlyn was also involved in HAUSCR, an organization that gives students from China the opportunity to visit and experience a taste of US Universities. A true world traveler, Kaitlyn’s visited over 15 countries through her extracurriculars at Harvard.

Alice K.

Yale University
Alice graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and is pursuing a master’s degree at Yale University. Alice served as the Senior Leader for the Notre Dame's Leadership Committee and the President for the Society for Asian Scientists and Engineers. As an Advocacy and Education Executive Board Member, she’s fostered community partnerships with local health organizations and health professionals. Alice is passionate about neuroscience, health policy, and student mentorship. She also enjoys home renovations and has recently finished renovating her parent’s home.

Taylor P.

Carnegie Mellon University
Taylor graduated with a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester. Taylor has served as an academic and research specialist at the UChicago Booth School of Business and as an administrator to the Chair at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester. She’s an accomplished author with two published pieces.

Kathryn T.

Brown University
Kathryn is a Ph.D. candidate at Brown University, where she serves as the President of the Graduate Student Council. She has taught several health policy courses at Brown and has held leadership roles for the Women in Stem Conference Executive Committee, Brown's Community Council, and the Brown University Department of Health Sciences Research. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys cooking new recipes and eating them!

Lydia M.

New York University
Lydia graduated from NYU as Dean’s Scholar, Presidential Honors Scholar, and Bentson Scholar. Lydia is a United Nations Millennium Fellow, a Senior Writing Tutor at the NYU writing center, and an NYU College Leader, where she teaches classes for students about college life and academics. She is also the Founder and CEO of Pro BoKnow, an organization to help students network with investors and get their businesses off the ground. She has two black cats making her home feel extra spooky year-round.

Cymone M.

University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)
Cymone graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and is a Ph.D candidate at UCLA. She is the UCLA Gates Millennium Scholars Program Social Chair and has served as a mentorship ambassador at UCLA’s Graduate Division: Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Admissions. In her free time, Cymone enjoys brushing up on her American Sign Language.

Peter E.

Brown University
Peter graduated with a master’s from Brown University and is a J.D. candidate at the University of Buffalo School of Law. Prior to joining Prepory, he served as an admissions interviewer, residential advisor, and teaching assistant. His academic research background is focused on cancer pharmaceuticals, general pediatrics, geriatric oncology, and molecular pharmacology.

Emily O.

Columbia University
Emily is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Columbia University. At Columbia, she’s the publisher for the Journal of Politics and Society and a staff writer for The Federalist, a satirical newspaper. Emily is also involved in Quiz Bowl. Emily also plays 4 different instruments and has played the piano for over 13 years!

Elizabeth R.

University of Chicago
Elizabeth is a University of Chicago graduate and a J.D. candidate at the University of Kansas School of Law. Prior to joining Prepory, Elizabeth served as a student assistant at the UChicago Admissions Office for over three years. She was also a part of UChicago Mock Trial and UChicago’s Women+ in Law. Libby is also a second-degree black belt: she’s been training in self-defense since she was 6 years old.

Julia D.

Yale University
Julia graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and is a Ph.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University. She’s a member of the Teach for America PRISM Board where she exercises her passion for equity and inclusion. While at Yale, she received the John Spangler Nicholas Award for her outstanding leadership and character. She is currently working on a historical fiction novel that meets young adult fantasy.

Catherine L.

University of Pennsylvania
The Wharton School
Catherine graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Catherine earned lead analyst and top 20 U.S. advisor at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, where she also served as a member of the NY Family Wealth’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee as well as a J.P. Morgan Girls Inc. mentor.

Andrea Q.

Columbia University
Andrea is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Columbia University. She’s a researcher at Columbia’s mechanical engineering lab and serves as the Corporate Chair for the Society of Women Engineers, where she organizes events with Fortune 500 corporations. Alongside engineering, Andrea also has a strong background in business and finance: she’s worked as an analyst at Sixth Street and in the technology sector for Goldman Sachs.

Cleopatra E.

University of Central Florida
Burnett Honors College
Cleopatra was admitted to UCLA, UC Berkeley, Cornell, and Duke, and chose the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors college to pursue her bachelor’s degree. She serves as a research assistant at the Barbara Ying Center for Behavioral Studies, an intern at Dr. Gideon Lewis Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine Clinic, and is a member of the Dean's Leadership Council. Her dream is to become a member of Doctors without Borders and give back to low-income communities.

Maria A.

University of Pennsylvania
Maria is a University of Pennsylvania graduate and a Ph.D. candidate at Duke University, where she received the Duke Sloan Scholarship. A former Prepory student herself, Maria has achieved tremendous success in her academic career. At Penn, she was a research assistant for Penn's Astronomy and Physics Department, a member of the Women in Physics Club, and several mentoring programs on campus. Maria is an avid knitter who has made a cardigan, a top, and lots of hats!

Gabriella R.

Washington University in St. Louis
Gabriella graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a Thomas H. Eliot Scholar. While at WashU, she served as a business strategy teaching assistant for the Olin School of Business and worked at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for over three years. Gabi is now pursuing her degree in dental medicine at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Nathaniel M.

Yale University
Nathaniel is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He is the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of a French-English literary publication he began in 2019 called La Francophonie à Yale. Nathaniel is also Vice President of the Caribbean Students Organization and Associate Editor of the Yale State and Local Policy Review. He recently competed in the Jeopardy College Championship in April 2020 representing Yale!

Rya M.

Northwestern University
Rya is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University. She’s a research assistant at the Bozza lab at Northwestern, community chair for GirlUp NU, and peer health educator for Peer Health Exchange. Rya will also be attending Northwestern’s Medicine Pre-Med internship this summer. She’s also a springboard diver and captain of the varsity team!

Sofia R.

University of Pennsylvania
Sofia is a University of Pennsylvania graduate and is pursuing a MFA at Temple University. She’s received the Rittenberg Prize for Best Undergraduate in English and the Vittorini Prize for Excellence in Italian. Sofia served as an Editor at the Penn Review and a Cellist at the Penn Symphony Orchestra. Sofia’s creative writing work has been published various times.

Mary S.

Vanderbilt University
Mary is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University. She’s a Questbridge Scholar and a member of Dore For a Day, an organization that provides campus tours to prospective students. Mary founded a volunteer program for high school students to assist younger students with their homework. She was the first minor to ever receive a CDA (Child Development Associate) at Vanderbilt.

David Z.

Yale University
David is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Yale University. He’s publicity chair of the Yale Glee Club and a published co-author of the NYU Langone Medical Center. At Yale, David is a member of Yale’s Alternatives Investments club where he exercises his knowledge on private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital. He’s also a piano wizard; he performed a piano solo at Carnegie Hall!

Tyler M.

Harvard University
Tyler is a Harvard University graduate, where they served as the Director of Fundraising for Harvard Engineers Without Borders for over two years. Tyler also served as a teaching fellow, college application mentor for international students, and curriculum developer for STEM courses for the Harvard Summer Urban Program. A recipient of the Harvard Earth and Planetary Sciences Research Award, Tyler hopes their passion for astronomy leads them to extraterrestrial discoveries.

Katarina F.

Brown University
Katarina is pursuing a bachelor's degree at Brown University. As a first-year applicant, Katarina received acceptances to every school she applied to including Stanford, Amherst, Wellesley, Hamilton, Vassar, and Scripps. At Brown, she advises students on concentrations, registration, and extracurriculars and serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy for her sorority organization. Having previously studied computer science, she landed an internship at a Fortune 500 tech company at the age of sixteen.

Jordan B.

Vanderbilt University
Jordan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Law, History, and Society at Vanderbilt University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She’s served as the Community Education Chair and President of The Vanderbilt Prison Project, the Social Justice Committee Chair for the Vanderbilt chapter of the NAACP, and the Vice President of Political Activism for Vanderbilt’s Women in Government organization where she’s committed herself to justice.

Kelly M.

Boston College
Kelly is pursuing a master’s degree at Boston College. Kelly received the Reverend James F. Moynihan, S.J. Award. She’s the president of the Graduate Education Association, a graduate representative on the Educational Policy Committee, and an Instructor for Experience, Reflection, Action, a freshman seminar course for students in the education school. Outside of her studies, Kelly loves running and ran a marathon.

Lillianne L.

University of Pennsylvania
Lilli graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge. While at Penn, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Wharton International Business Review and wrote narrative-style pieces on alumni and campus events through Penn's Office of Communications. Lilli has served in several editorial positions for publishing companies in the New York City metropolitan area. Lilli is a gifted writer who runs a successful online book blog.

Rani C.

Columbia University
Teachers College
Rani is pursuing a master’s degree at Columbia University. Rani’s received the Arthur Zankel Urban Fellowship Award and Segal Americorps Education Award. Through her teaching experience, Rani has experience partnering with community leaders to help shape educational policy and improve the school science curriculum. Rani was also part of her school’s rugby team!

Stanley Z.

Vanderbilt University
Stanley is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University. He’s a Questbridge Scholar who received a Silver Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the TN Hope Scholarship, and the Vanderbilt John B. Thomison Sr. Scholarship. Stanley is heavily involved in media at Vanderbilt. He’s an editor at the Vanderbilt Hustler and an active writer for its political review. Stanley also has a black belt in Wado-Ryu karate and appreciates the artistic, physical, and mental facets of the form.

Elena L.

Cornell University
Elena is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. She’s the Founder of a 501(c) nonprofit organization, Bridging Volunteers, that aims to provide support to various charitable programs around the world. Through Bridging Volunteers, she initiated the English enrichment program in various educational institutions in Indonesia. Elena speaks five different languages and is a part of the Cornell Indonesian Association and Chinese Student Association.

India B.

Yale University
India graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and is pursuing a Ph.D. at UC-Irvine. India was awarded the Howard L. Schultz Prize by the Yale Physics department in recognition of her research achievements. She was the Co-President of Yale’s Women in Physics and participated in Yale’s Varsity Women’s Fencing and club wrestling teams. Recently, she completed a 6-foot replica of a cross-section of the ATLAS experiment at CERN out of old physics problem sets and study guides!

Esther D.

Yale University
Esther is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. At Yale, she plans and promotes community events for Yale Women’s Center and serves as an outreach coordinator and advocacy director for the Yale Undergraduate Legal Aid Association. She has also served as a Yale Bridges ESL tutor, Deputy Student Usher for Commencement, and Voter Engagement Fellow for the Yale College Democrats.

Isabel K.

Columbia University
Isabel graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and a master’s degree from Columbia University. She served as a Barnard Student Admissions Representative, research assistant at the Columbia Middle East Institute, and a member of the Columbia Turkish Students group. She is a passionate human rights advocate who has earned the United Nations Association Emerging Fellows Award and the Elie Wiesel Essay Prize in Ethics.

Alex T.

Yale University
Alex is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. Alex received the National Scholastic Painting Award and was published in the Spires Intercollegiate Literary & Art Magazine. She worked as the Art Director of the Yale Record, America’s oldest humor magazine. Driven by her creativity, she’s currently completing an artistic residency at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.

Matthew S.

Northwestern University
Matthew is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University. He’s the CEO of a bike-share organization, president of Northwestern’s UNICEF club, and a mentor at Northwestern’s Investment Banking Club. Matthew has worked as an analyst for top finance firms, including Rush Street Capital and Jansen Investments. Like all Boston locals, Matthew is a true Boston sports fan. He’s witnessed 12 sports championships in 18 years of living in the city.

Danielle C.

Vanderbilt University
Danielle is pursuing a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Danielle was a Peabody Distinguished Scholar and a Posse Scholarship recipient. She is a dedicated education professional who has designed online courses on college essay writing, application processes, and academic program selection. Along with her commitment to education, Danielle has also served as legal aid and can be found binge-watching true crime shows in her free time.

Lauren W.

University of Cambridge
Lauren graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and is pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge. Lauren is the founder of Geek Girl, a startup that aims to close the gender gap in technology by providing women mentorship opportunities in computer science. She's also created two iOS applications with thousands of downloads on the App Store. Lauren is currently training for the Ironman UK and has run 10 marathons in her life.

Kate M.

Harvard College
Kate graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College. While at Harvard, Kate served as a student board member for the Harvard Art Museums, an archival research intern for the Harvard Center for Renaissance Studies at Villa I Tatti, a student assistant for the Harvard Alumni Association, and a tutor for high school students through the Harvard Ed Portal. Her college thesis was a collection of original poetry, and she continues to write poetry in her free time.

Max L.

Cornell University
Max is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Max was valedictorian of his high school, a National AP Scholar, and received the Dartmouth Association Book Club Award. He is the social chair of Cornell’s pre-law fraternity and an avid member of the Bee Club! He’s had the opportunity to perform hive inspections, honey extractions, and wintering.

Dartmouth College
Amla is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Amla is also a writing tutor, a local leader in the Dartmouth Outing Club, and a teacher in Musical Empowerment, where she has mentored and directed students in the orchestra.
